General Podiatry

General Podiatry includes toenail cutting, removal of nail spurs and filing all edges, sometimes including surgical removal of broken nail and foreign bodies from the sides. Dry skin repair and callous removal are important in reducing pressure areas, before they form into deep soft or dry corns which are very painful.

General podiatry depends on the use of the proper instruments & equipment with the appropriate skill of the Podiatrist, these various techniques make these procedures as painless as they can be.

The lesions include ingrown toenail, infections, callouses, corns (Tylomas), warts, growths (Haemangioma), Fungal infections in skin and nail including Paronychia.
